



Climate and Oceans Support Program in the Pacific
Since 2012, the Climate and Oceans Support Program in the Pacific (COSPPac) has worked with National Meteorological and Hydrological Services and Land and Survey Departments across the Pacific to develop the data, tools, products and skills needed to improve climate and ocean services.
We partner with fifteen Pacific Island countries: the Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Niue, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tokelau, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.

The report Climate Change in the Pacific 2022: Historical and Recent Variability, Extremes and Change provides climate change science information for the region and individual Pacific Island countries or territories.
It includes information about rainfall records, air temperature, tropical cyclones, sea (ocean) surface temperature, sea level, ocean waves and extreme ocean waves, and has country-specific chapters for the Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
